轻度脑外伤患者社会支持水平与持续性精神疲劳的关联研究

目的:掌握轻度脑外伤患者一年内精神疲劳发生率及同期社会支持的动态变化,分析领悟社会支持水平与精神疲劳发生的关联。方法:用精神疲劳量表和领悟社会支持量表,在入院期间(基线)、及出院后3、6、12个月等4个时间点,测评轻度脑外伤患者精神疲劳及社会支持得分,分析二者动态变化及相互关系。结果:共91人完成随访,基线检测和3个月、6个月和12个月测评中,精神疲劳的发生率分别为66.1%、41.2%、34.3%和31.9%。患者精神疲劳得分和领悟社会支持得分在随访期间逐渐下降。与未发生精神疲劳的患者比较,发生者在社会支持的三个维度,包括家庭,朋友和其他人,得分均明显较低,且两组得分差异随时间明显增大。随访期间,社会支持各维度得分与精神疲劳得分呈明显负相关。结论:轻度脑外伤患者精神疲劳发生率高,营造支持性的社会环境是促进其恢复的有效措施。

The association of perceived social support with long-lasting mental fatigue among patients with mild traumatic brain injury

Objective:To investigate the temporal profile of mental fatigue and the perceived social during the first year after mild traumatic brain injury(MTBI),and examine the association between the perceived social support scores and post-MTBI fatigue scores.Methods:All participants eligible for the present study were assessed through Mental Fatigue Scale (MFS) and perceived social support scale (PSSS) during hospitalization and at 3rd month,6th month and 12th month.The temporal profile as well as association of MFS and PSSS scores was analyzed.Results:A total of 91 patients completed the follow up.The incidence of mental fatigue was 66.1%,41.2%,34.3% and 31.9% at baseline,3rd month,6th month and 12th month,respectively.A significant decreasing trend was observed regarding MFS and PSSS scores.Compared to non-fatigued MTBI patients,those with long-lasting post-MTBI fatigue reported extremely lower level of perceived social support at the three dimensions of PSSS.Conclusion:Social support is associated with mental fatigue among MTBI patients.It implies that a supportive environment is necessary for the management of MTBI patients during rehabilitation.
