Analysis on the influence of different payment methods to medical costs

Objective To know the influence of different payment methods to medical service costs. Methods The investigation was by literature review method. Results The data indicated that medical costs in China are rising, literature review showed that different payment methods had different effects to medical costs. Conclusions Different payment methods to different medical service so that to effectively control the medical expenses. Suggestions The single payment method could not effectively control the growth of medical cost. The comprehensive application of various of payment methods can control the growth of medical cost within the reasonable scope, and inspire the designated medical institutions to improve service efficiency, promote the medical insurance and medical service healthy coordinated development.
