食管鳞癌组织中存活蛋白表达的意义

目的　探讨凋亡抑制蛋白Survivin在食管鳞癌 (ESC)组织中的表达 ,及其与凋亡指数 (AI)、临床病理特征的关系。方法　采用免疫组织化学染色检测 4 2例胃镜标本的ESC组织中Survivin表达水平 ,采用原位末端标记法(TUNEL)检测肿瘤细胞的凋亡 ,并结合临床病理特征进行相关性分析。结果　Survivin表达于细胞核。 2 7例(6 4 .3% )食管鳞癌组织表达Survivin ,其表达越强 ,组织分化程度越低 ;Survivin的表达率与年龄、性别、原发部位、肿瘤大小等无相关性。Survivin阳性组AI与Survivin阴性组比较明显下降 ,差异有显著性 (P <0 .0 5 )。结论　Survivin在食管鳞癌组织中表达上调 ,通过抑制凋亡参与食管鳞癌的发生、发展过程。ESC组织Survivin的表达水平与ESC组织分化程度有密切关系。检测ESC组织Survivin表达 ,对判断预后有重要意义

Expression of Survivin in esophageal squamous carcinoma tissue

Objective To investigate the expression of Survivin and its relationship with apoptosis index and clinical features in esophageal squamous carcinoma(ESC) tissue.Methods The expression of Survivin of tumor cells in 42 cases with ESC were assessed by immunohistochemical method.TUNEL method was used to detect apoptosis.Results The Survivin was expressed in 27 of 42 cases of ESC(64.3%).Upregulated expression of Survivin was strongly associated with poor differentiation(P<0.005).There were no relationship among Survivin expression and age,sex,location and tumor size.Survivin positive ESC had significantly lower values for AI than Survivin negative tumors(P<0.05).Conclusion Up-regulation of Survivin expression in ESC suggests that Survivin may play an important role in esophageal squamous tumorigenesis through the inhibition of apoptosis.The expression of Survivin is closely correlated with the differentiation.Survivin may be a new prognostic implication in ESC.
