样本含量不等时对两均数作比较所需的样本含量

在研究设计中,常要为对两样本均数的差别作统计学检验而计算所需的样本含量。在统计学教科书上已介绍了两样本含量相等时的计算公式及样本含量便查表。而在实际工作中,常会遇到样本含量不等的情况,本文提出了两样本含量为1:K时以及指定一个样本的含量时所需的样本含量的计算方法与公式,有较大的实用意义。

Estimation of Sample Size needed to Compare Two Means with Vnequal Sample Size

Sample size is often calculated for significance test of difference between two sample means in design of study. Some formula for calculation and ready made tables to find proper sample size which are equal in compared two samples are introduced in many statistical books. Unfortunatly, unequal sample size is often needed in practice. The method and formula for calculating sample size while the ratio of sample size is 1:k or the size of either sample is fixed is now developed in this paper.Some results in exampled cases are shown in the tables which are practically useful.
