| Abstract: | In this series, 68 patients suffering from injury of chest and hypochondrium were divided into acupuncture plus respiratory movement group (group AR)and acupuncture group (group A). It was observed that the cure rate, the total effective rate and the average treating time was 83.8%, 97. 0% and 3 respectively in group AR, and 62. 5 %, 82. 8% and 7 respectively in group A. There was a statistically significant difference (P<0. of) in the curative effect between the two groups. Compared in TCM differentiation of the disease, patients with Qi stagnation type and vicarious type showed better therapeutic results in group AR (P<0.01 and P<0.05) than in group A, while patients belonged to blood stasis type showed no obvious difference between the two therapies (P>0. 05). |
