空间信息技术在医学地理研究中的应用

空间信息技术是信息技术的重要分支之一,主要包括空间信息收集与存储、数据库建立、空间统计分析与输出等一系列计算机处理技术。空间信息技术的实现主要依靠地理信息系统(GIS)、全球定位系统(GPS)、遥感技术(RS)的应用和发展。空间信息技术具有强大的空间数据管理与分析功能,处理与地理位置有关的疾病空间数据具有独特的优势,因而为研究特定地理区域内各种自然、社会因素与健康的关系,揭示健康或疾病与地理位置相关因素的关系提供了可靠、可行的技术手段。近年来,空间信息技术在建立疾病地理信息系统、绘制医学地图、环境流行病、传染病流行病、慢性非传染性疾病流行病、管理流行病等医学地理研究领域中广泛应用,积累了许多宝贵经验。这不仅为疾病预防控制和医疗卫生决策提供了科学参考,同时也为医学地理拓展了方法学领域,成为医学地理研究的主要技术手段。

Application of spatial information technology on study of medical geography

Spatial information technique（SIT） is a newly emerging technique that mainly based on application of geographic information system （GIS）, global position system （GPS） and remote sense （RS）. Considering data collection, store, and spatial analysis as main contents of it, SIT has supply a reliable technique for Medical geography （or named health geography） that aims to study the relationship between health （or diseases） issues and all nature and social factors related with geographic locations. SIT has the unique superiority to process spatial data of disease. In the past years, SIT has been applied to the following study domains, such as constructing spatial data bank of disease, making disease map, environment epidemiology, infectious disease epidemiology, chronic disease epidemiology,management epidemiology. The application of SIT on the problems linked with geographic locations has offered sufficient evidences for disease control and prevention more scientifically.
