Reducing Language Bias in Nursing Education: Equipping Educators

Hesitance among patients to seek medical care and poorer patient outcomes may result from language bias among health care providers.Nurse educators can reduce the use of language bias in healthcare by increasing awareness and using inclusive language with students.
