| Abstract: | Anterior cervical discectomy and fusion is indicated for the operative treatment of either cervical radiculopathy orcervical myelopathy. This article discusses the indications for the procedure, as well as the advantages of this approach, compared with foraminotomy, laminectomy, as well as laminoplasty. The operative technique is described in detail, as well as the results and complications. |
