Study on the relationship between Internet Addiction and Refusing Internet Self - efficacy among College Student

Objective To explore the relationship between internet addiction and refusing internet self-efficacy.Methods Internet Addiction Disorder Diagnostic Scal,General Self-efficacy Scale,Refusing Internet Self-efficacy Scale and a basic situation questionnaire designed were used to survey 757 juniors.Results ①Totally 7.9% of the college students were internet addiction.Addiction rate was higher in male college students than that in female college students（χ2=13.93,P0.01）.②There was positive correlation between the total scores of refusing internet self-efficacy and the scores of general self-efficacy（P0.05）.General self-efficacy scores of male students were higher than female students（t=2.67,P0.05）;refusing internet self-efficacy scores of male students were lower than female students（t=-2.8;P0.01）.③General self-efficacy score and refusing internet self-efficacy score of IAD group were lower than those of non-IAD group（P0.01）.④There was significant negative correlation between internet addiction and general self-efficacy,refusing internet self-efficacy.Conclusion General self-efficacy scores and refusing internet self-efficacy scores are good prediction factors to internet addiction.
