| Abstract: | Objective To discuss the personality status of freshmen in traditional Chinese medicine colleges.Methods A survey of personality status was made with 16PF among 904 freshmen from the traditional Chinese medicine colleges.Results The result of the 16PF showed that the female had a lower score of B（P0.001,t=6.43）,I（P0.001,t=3.50）,L（P0.01,t=2.76）factors,and had a higher score of F factor（P0.05,t=-2.01）.The rural students had a higher score of A（P0.05,t=-2.11）factors,but urban students had a higher score of F（P0.05,t=2.15）and L（P0.01,t=2.96）factors.Conclusion Mental health education in universities should be conducted according to different regions,genders,and families. |
