从上海市性病的流行情况看普及性教育的紧迫性

近年来,本市性病患者不断增加,与1987年相比,有如下特点:发病率逐年增加;病种扩大;患者年龄有低龄化的倾向;患者性别比例发生改变;患者中婚前及婚外性行为极普遍;患者的职业分布出现变化;性病患者的地区分布发生改变;性病高危人群中性病患病率不断上升。性病防治是一项极复杂的社会综合治理工程。但从某种意义上讲:“性病的流行,在于群众对性病的无知”,因此,如何对群众进行科学的性教育和性病防治教育,这是一个十分紧迫的问题,要搞好此教育应做好如下几点:1.教育者必须先受教育。2.性病防治教育与性教育相结合。3.同时进行道德和法制观念的教育。总之,应动员全社会的力量积极进行这方面的教育工作,提高人们的认识,以控制性病的蔓延。

To a certain degree, it could be said that the epidemic of STD was due to individual ignorance about the knowledge of the disease. It was an urgent issue how to carry out a scientific education about the knowledge of sex and STD, The following program would appear properable: 1. The educator smust be educated first. 2. STD education must be combined with sex education. 3. Sex morality and legal education must be carried out simmultaneously. In general, to control the epidemic of STD, all social power must be activated to carry out sex education and to improve people's knowledge about sex and STD.
