Abstract: | Calcifying epithelioma of Malherbe, pilomatricoma, is a benign neoplasm of the skin, originating from primitive cells of the hair matrix, Myotonic dystrophy (Steinert's disease) is an uncommon hereditary disease characterized by myotonia, muscle wasting, cataracts, testicular atrophy and frontal baldness. We present the case of a woman with pilomatricomas and myotonic dystrophy and then we review the relationship between these two disorders. |
