| Abstract: | With the widespread application of cardiac CT has come increasing concern over the effects of radiation dose associated with this exam. Dual source CT provides a number of methods for dose reduction in helical ECG-gated cardiac CT studies. This article discusses several of these methods, with a particular emphasis on low kVp scanning, which can be applied in a large percentage of patients. |
