Abstract:Objective To analyse the drug resistance for 924 strains of pathogens isolated from clinical samples in Xinhai Hospital during 2005 to 2006.Methods MicroScan bacterial identification and drug susceptibility testing system plate were used to identify and perform the susceptibility test for Gram positive coccus and Gram negative bacilli. Results Gram negative bacilli were the superiority bacteria(67.86%),mainly Escherichia coli(14.07%),Pseudomonas aeruginosa(13.53%),Klebsiella pneumoniae(11.04%),Staphylococcus epidermidis(6.79%)Staphylococcus aureus(4.52%).Each kind of these common pathogens existed antibiotic resistance to varying degree. Conclusion Staphylococcus is sensitive(100%)to Vancomycin and resistant(100%)to penicillin. To Gram negative bacillus, the first choice is imipenem(76.1% sensitive),the next is amikacin(71.7% sensitive). It is suggested that the clinical doctors should use antibiotics rationally according to the laboratory results.
Keywords:bacterial identification  drug sensitivity  drug resistance
