Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of urinary trypsin inhibitor(UTI) on acute cognitive impairment in a rat model of sepsis.Methods:Intraperitoneal injection of lipopolysaccharide(LPS,8 or 16 mg/kg) was used to induce sepsis in adult Sprague-Dawley rats.We tested the spatial learning ability of rats through the Morris Water Maze(MWM) training.In the UTI-treated group,UTI was administrated at 30 min after LPS(16 mg/kg) injection,and the spatial learning ability was tested through the MWW training.Results:Af...
