Abstract: | A course of adenocine (cardiotonic drug with a pronounced cardioprotective effect) for severe experimental heart failure caused by toxic allergic myocarditis (for 10 days) more effectively restored the systolic and diastolic function of the heart and arrested systemic inflammatory response syndrome than traditional therapy with angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, β-adrenoblockers, or diuretics in combination with neoton. Adenocine is characterized by a synergistic effect, and none of its ingredients alone (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, inosine, β-acetyldigoxin, oxyfedrine) exhibits similar effect. |
