Gene modified food (GM food) are those with better character after modified by gene from plant,animal or microbial. GM food has advantages such as increasing food category and output, and improving their quality. But whether they are safe to human and environment are yet unclear. Up to present there is not yet any acceptable and reliable assessment system.
