Abstract: | Isolated extramedullary relapse (EMR) after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is a highly fatal condition that creates uncertainty regarding treatment options. Although certain approaches such as repeat HSCT and donor lymphocyte infusion are recommended, we report a patient with acute lymphoblastic leukemia who had three isolated EMRs after HSCT at different locations and at different times that were responsive to local and systemic therapies, without the need for a second transplantation. |
