胃癌组织COX-2和VEGF的表达与临床病理特征相关性研究

目的探讨环氧化酶-2(COX-2)和血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)的表达与胃癌临床病理特征之间的关系以及COX-2与VEGF在胃癌组织中表达的相关性。方法采用免疫组化EnVision两步法检测胃癌组织61例及相应的癌旁组织COX-2、VEGF的表达。结果胃癌组织中COX-2及VEGF的阳性表达率均明显高于癌旁组织(P<0.05);胃癌中COX-2、VEGF的表达与浸润深度、淋巴结转移、TNM分期和病理分化程度显著相关(P<0.05)。VEGF与COX-2表达呈明显相关(P<0.05)。结论COX-2、VEGF在胃癌组织中高表达,COX-2、VEGF的表达与胃癌的发生、发展密切相关,COX-2、VEGF的检测有助于判断胃癌的预后。COX-2表达与VEGF显著相关,两者联合检测有望成为判断胃癌恶性程度的重要生物学指标。

CORRELATION OF COX-2 AND VEGF EXPRESSIONS WITH CLINICAL PATHOLOGIC CHARACTERISTICS IN GASTRIC CARCINOMA

Objective To investigate whether the expressions of COX-2 and VEGF are correlated with the clinical pathologic characteristics of gastric carcinoma.Methods With immunohistochemical method,the expressions of COX-2 and VEGF were examined of 61 surgically resected specimens of gastric carcinoma and their normal mucosa beside the tumor.The relationships between COX-2 and VEGF expressions and the clinical pathologic characteristics were analyzed.Results Expressions of COX-2 and VEGF in gastric carcinoma were significantly higher than those of the normal mucosa(P<0.05); COX-2 and VEGF expression was correlated with the depth of invasion,lymph node metastasis,patho-type of tumor,TNM classification,and higher COX-2 expression was correlated with VEGF expressions(P<0.05).Conclusion COX-2 and VEGF are overexpressed in gastric carcinoma.Overexpression of COX-2 and VEGF are correlated with the growth of gastric carcinoma,and they may serve as prognostic factors to indicate biologic behavior and prognosis in gastric carcinoma.COX-2 expression is closely associated with VEGF;they can be regarded as malignancy biological parameter in gastric carcinoma.
