| Abstract: | Combined Homograft of decalcified bone and autologous red marrow has beenapplied to treat benign bone tumors or tumorous lesions in 28 patients,fracturesin 6 andscoliosis in 1 since May,1989,and satisfactory results were obtained.No abnormal reactionhappened postoperatively in any patients.All the wounds healed primarily.21 casesfollowed-up by 6-30 months postoperatively(an average of 18.2 months),among themosseous healng appeared in 16 cases of tumors or tumorous lesions and 1 in old fractureof humeral shaft,spinal fusion occurred in 1 case of scolisis.Slow osteogenssis was zeenin 1 case of endochondroma of the phalanx,and recurrence was found in 1 case of bonecyst and 1 case of aneurysmal bone cyst.Authors present the source,preparation andpreservation of the decalcified bone,and the usage in the operation.Mechanism of comp-osite bone transplantation,and some advantages of autologous bone grafts in the txeatmentane discussed in the paper also. |
