摘 要: | 目的 :研究大蒜素与SMZCo对小鼠弓形虫感染的保护作用。方法 :36只小鼠腹腔接种 1×10 5个RH株弓形虫速殖子 ,4h后分 4组 (每组 9只 )灌胃给药 ,每日 1次。A组为空白对照组 ,B组给SMZCo ,C组给大蒜素 ,D组给大蒜素和SMZCo。大蒜素 30mg·kg- 1,给药 18d ;SMZCo 4 0 0mg·kg- 1,给药 8d。结果 :A组小鼠感染后 6d内全部死亡。B组死亡 7只 ,死亡率、复发率均为10 0 %。C组死亡率为 63% ,复发率为 0。D组复发率为 33% ,与B组比较 ,P <0 .0 5 ,与C组比较 ,P>0 .0 5 ,D组死亡率为 5 6%。结论 :大蒜素与SMZCo联合使用能有效的控制急性弓形虫病 ,降低弓形虫病的复发率

Protective effect of garlicin combined with compound sulfamethoxazole against Toxoplasma infection of mice |

Abstract: | AIM: To study the protective effect of garlicin combined with SMZ Co against Toxoplasma gondii infection of mice. METHODS:Thirty six mice were infected with Toxoplasma gondii RH strain tachyzoites 1×10 5 per mouse. After 4 h they were divided into four groups. A group was with no treatment as control. B group was treated with SMZ Co 400 mg·kg -1 for 8 d throught mouth. C group was treated with garlicin 30 mg·kg -1 for 18 d. D group was treated with garlicin plus SMZ Co. Its dose and period were as B,C group. RESULTS: All mice of A group died within 6 d postinfection. In the B group, there was only one death during the treatment. But when the treatment was stopped, the rest seven mice died. Its mortality rate was 100%, the relapse rate was 100%. In the C group, there were five mice death during the treatment. The rest three mice were cured. Its mortality rate was 63%, the relapse rate was 0. In the D group, there was three mice death during the treatment and it has marked difference compared with A group ( P < 0.01). After garlicin was stopped, two mice died, the relapse rate was 33% and it has difference compared with B group ( P <0.05). The rest four mice were cured. The mice mortality rate was 56%. CONCLUSION: It is a better choice to treat toxoplasmosis with garlicin combined with SMZ Co, because it can control acute toxoplasmosis and reduce relapse rate. |
