Progress of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Treating Coronary Heart Disease

This article is to sum up the research progress of the traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of coronary heart disease in many aspects in increasing blood flow of coronary artery,inhibiting the function of platelet and thrombosis,regulating the metabolism of blood lipid,reducing blood consistence,scavenging oxygen free radicals,protecting vessel endothelium cell and vessel smooth muscle cell,and reducing inflammation.It reveals that the traditional Chinese medicine can reduce many negative factors of coronary heart disease with the advantages of exerting its effect in multiple target of many aspects.Therefore,the traditional Chinese medicine is more effective and safty for the treatment of coronary heart disease with wide applicational future.
