摘    要:本研究发现了表皮葡萄球菌(Staphyloco-ccus epidermidis)的镇咳有效成份是氨基酸,并通过对各种常见氨基酸的镇咳试验,进一步发现苯丙氨酸、苏氨酸、亮氨酸和异亮氨酸有明显的镇咳作用和它们之间的协同功能。这不仅对控制和提高其产品“白葡菌止咳片”的质量有较大的实用价值;而且还揭开了上述氨基酸的新功能或新用途,为进一步开发新产品展示了前景。

Abstract:The antitussive efficacy of Staphyiococcus epidermidis has been reported on cough patients(1). In this study, the suspension of Staphyiococcus epidermidis was repeatedly frozen and thawed. The filtrate was dialysed against water. The dialysate was evaporated to dryness and white crystals were obtained.The dialysate and crystals were given to mice by intragastric gavage. After 1h, the mice were exposed to ammonia inhalation. The antitussive components were found to be amino acids,among which Phe, Thr, Leu and He were most potent and syner-gistic.
