| Abstract: | Newborn mice surviving intracerebral infection with Junín virus (JV) strain XJ showed viral persistence in brain up to 140 days post-infection (p.i.). Mild meningoencephalitis or encephalitis, but not the neutralizing antibody titres (NtAb) correlated with virus presence. |
