The main objective of any assisted reproductive technology （ART） center is to provide good service for their patients to achieve a healthy live birth. Unfortunately, only a certain percentage of couples achieve pregnancy after fresh embryo transfer. Then the thawed embryo transfer could provide another chance for them without additional ovarian stimulation. The technique of embryo cryopreservation is well established in ART centers all around the world and the pregnancy chance by thawed embryo transfer is comparable to that of fresh embryo transfer. Embryo transfer （ET） is the final crucial step in a thawed embryo transfer cycle. The ET technique can directly influence the outcome of thawed embryo transfer. Adequate quality management （including quality assurance and quality control） can help to provide consistent, optimal outcome for embryo cryopreservation and thawed embryo transfer. Primary elements in quality management of frozen embryos transfer treatment are here reviewed.
