| Abstract: | An 800-base-pair DNA fragment from a partial genomic library of Mycoplasma gallisepticum was selected and used as a probe for the selective detection of this avian pathogen. The specificity and sensitivity of this probe were demonstrated by using dot blot and Southern hybridizations. |
