Abstract:Glycan and glycosylation is essential for regulating cell function, abnormal glycosylation modification and changes in glycan content or composition can accelerate the malignant transformation of cancer cells, promote tumor metastasis, participate in the regulation of the organism''s anti-tumor immune response, which ultimately promotes tumor development. To understand the occurrence and development of tumors, studying tumor-related glycosylation and abnormal glycans expression is of great significance. Therefore, this essay aims to clarify the relationship between glycosylation and tumor development and summarize the latest related glycosylation treatment strategies, which will provide new ideas and approaches for tumor treatment.
