Abstract:Summary Transcutaneous oxygen tension (pTcO2) in various types of flap is described and compared. Random and arterial flaps showed different pTcO2 patterns. The value of delay was shown. The results indicated the potential of the pTcO2 technique for flap research and for clinical monitoring of flap circulation.
