Application research of whole-process health management mode in the assessment of the QOL and prognosis improvement of patients with esophageal cancer

Objective:To explore the application value of whole-process health management mode in the assessment of quality of life(QOL)and prognosis improvement of patients with esophageal cancer.Methods:A total of 68 inpatients with esophageal cancer were selected and were divided into control group and observation group using random number table method,with 34 patients in each group.The control group adopted the conventional care management mode,and the observation group adopted the whole-process health management mode to assess the QOL of patients.The selfdesigned recognition and satisfaction questionnaire were used to investigate the recognition of prognosis improvement and the nursing satisfaction in the two groups.The QOL scale and generalized anxiety disorder-7(GAD-7)scores,the incidence of complications,the recognition of prognosis improvement,the nursing satisfaction and the compliance of clinical treatment between the two groups were compared and analyzed.Results:The scores of QOL and GAD-7 of observation group were significantly better than those of control group on the 10th day after treatment,the differences of them between the two groups were statistically significant(t=4.790,t=3.222,P<0.05),respectively.The proportion of complications of observation group was significantly lower than that of control group post treatment(x2=8.173,P<0.05).The recognition of prognosis recognition,the nursing satisfaction and the compliance of clinical treatment of observation group were significantly higher than those of control group(t=2.845,t=4.472,t=2.365,P<0.05),respectively.Conclusions:The whole-process health management mode can effectively improve the QOL of patients after chemotherapy,and reduce the anxiety state and the incidence of postoperative complications,and improve the coping ability of patients in diagnosis and treatment,which has higher clinical application value.
