| Abstract: | We report a case of methanol blindness. Ophthalmoscopic examination disclosed swelling in the disc margins extending along the adjacent retinal nerve fiber layer. Although this optic neuropathy is now rare, prompt diagnosis and proper treatment in the acute phase can dramatically improve the prognosis. |
