Effect of reform of perioperative nursing process in peritoneal dialysis

Objective To discuss the effect of reform of perioperative nursing process in peritoneal dialysis. Methods According to the admission order,160 new peritoneal dialysis patients were divided into observation group and the control group,with 80 cases in each group. The observation group used the reformed nursing process, and the control group used the traditional model of nursing. Then the effects of the two groups were compared after treatment. Results Compared to the control group, the average length of stay was significantly shorter （ P 〈 0.01 ） , and the hospitalization costs were less （ P 〈 0.05 ） , and the score of disease- related knowledge and the satisfaction rate of patients were significantly higher in the observation group （P 〈 0.01 ）, the improvement of compliance after one month （ P 〈 0.01 or P 〈 0.05 ）. Conclusion The reformed nursing process is superior to the traditional model of nursing. So it is worthy of using widely in clinical oerioperative nursing management.
