Abstract:Objective To cultivate nurses to adapt to the needs of job requirement, and develop emergency nursing curriculum according to higher vocational students characters. Methods Totals of 199 students from four higher vocational nursing classes of 2008 grade randomly divided into experimental group (100 students) and control group(99 students). Experimental group adopted work process oriented curriculum development to implemented emergency nursing teaching, while control group adopted conventional theory, segment practice method to implemented emergency nursing teaching. Results Students in experimental group effectively used emergency nursing knowledge, used rescue procedure to implement rescue, satisfied the teaching way, satisfied classroom climate of curriculum learning, promoted effective communication between students, well cooperated with others" rescue work, those better than that of control group (P 〈0.01 ). Conclusion Curriculum development oriented by work process of higher vocational nursing is good for students to learn each other, and promote students'comprehensive qualities development such as ibster their team work.
