有效的内皮保护可以阻止动脉粥样硬化的发生与进展,氧化应激可能是内皮功能障碍的共同发病机制,该学说的提出使抗氧化内皮保护策略成为目前研究的热点.与传统的抗氧化剂不同,具有抗氧化、抗炎、抗凝等多效性作用的药物如血管紧张素转换酶抑制剂、他汀类以及噻唑烷二酮类药物等能有效防治心血管疾病;具有抗氧化、抗炎等作用的中药近年来受到关注;另外一些新型抗氧化剂如α-硫辛酸等的内皮保护作用已成为当今研究的热点.

Effective protection of endothelium could prevent the occurrence and development of atherosclerosis.Oxidative stress may be the common mechanism of endothelial cell dysfunction and antioxidation strategies in protecting the endothelium have become a hotspot of research recently.Different from traditional antioxidants,tome agents such as inhibitors of angiotensin converting enzyme,statins or thiazolidinedione,could he used to prevent cardiovascular diseases because of their antioxidation,anti-inflammation and anticoagulation.Furthermore,many Chinese traditional medicines also have antioxidative and anti-inflammatory effects.Alpha-lipoic acid and other new type of antioxidants have also become a hotspot.
