| Abstract: | A new compound, sphaerophysin A (1), together with 16 known compounds (2-17) were obtained from the ethanolic extract of the seeds of Sphaerophysa salsula. The structure of 1 was elucidated on the basis of spectral and chemical evidence. Compounds 2-17 were isolated from the plant for the first time. |
