| Abstract: | From January 1966 to January 1988, 1152 patients with thoracic trauma were admitted to the hospital. According to clinical experience the authors points out: 1. In patients with multiple rib fractures, immobilization of the chest wall with elastic chest bandage should be done; 2. In case of hemopneumothorax closed dranage of thoracic cavity should be done at once; 3. Complete traumatic rupture of bronchus: diagnosis, anaesthetia and operative method were discussed; 4. Traumatic diaphragmatocele: this treatise putting forward a fresh view on X-ray examination, and emphasizing the importance of early diagnosis, time-operation and proper management of the complicated lesion; 5. Cardiac trauma: early diagnosis, measure of resuscitation and immediate emergency operation on patients with cardiac traumas. |
