| Abstract: | The investigation was reported that the epidemiological characteristics of peptic ulrer (Pu) was analysed in 5647 rases with fibrogastroscopy. A total of 965 cases of Pu was found, the detection rate of Pu was 17.1%, among which, 59.8% for Du, 35.2% for Gu. Tha ratio of Du to Gu was 1.7:1. The locations of lesion for Gu were lesser curvature (33.5%) , autrum (30.3%) and pylorus (21.7%) .The ratio of male to female wes 6:1. The average age of onset for Du (31.3 yrs) was five years younger than thai of Gu (41.9 yrs) . The incidence of Pu was significantly higher in winter (23%) than in summer (12.8%) (P<0.001) .Our study also suggested that the detection rate of Pu had already been decreased gradually since 1979 |
