| Abstract: | A case is reported of a man 60 years of age with degenerative stenosis of the lumbar canal at the L3–4 level and lumbar arachnoiditis, whose symptoms of claudication of the cauda equina were accompanied by uncomfortable involuntary erections. All symptoms were relieved by surgical decompression. |
