Value of Colposcopy Combined Biopsy Screening for Cervical Lesions

Objective To investigate the value of colposcopy combined biopsy screening for cervical lesions.Methods 614 cases gynecology cervical pathology in our hospital in January 2007-December 2009 were randomly divided into combined colposcopy biopsy group（combined group）and 372 cases of biopsy group（biopsy group）242 cases,compared the detection rate of cervical lesions in two groups and the Image features of different pathological types of cervical cancer in colposcopy.Results The detection rate of cervical erosion,endometriosis,genital warts,cervical polyps were no significant differences in two groups （P〉0.05）;the cervical cancer detection rate was 11.98% in combined group and significantly higher than biopsy group（P〈0.01）;normal rate was 13.64%,significantly lower than the biopsy group（P〈0.05）;The most common of colposcopy images was the white epithelium,followed by vascular disease and change like lard.Conclusion Colposcopy combined biopsy can increase the detection rate of early cervical cancer.The image of different pathological types cervical cancer in colposcopy were polymorphism.It is limitation to examine by colposcopy alone.
