| Abstract: | Hypertension is a common condition associated with increased cardiovascular morbidity and mortality.The genetic factor counts for much an aspect to large variation in individuals.In last decade,hypertension pharmacogenetic study has made a substantial work to shed light on genetic predictors of response to antihypertensive drugs.Small portions of β-adrenergic receptor blockers,calcium channel blockers and angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor were demonstrated close association with its metabolic enzyme and receptor.Application of hypertension pharmacogenomic into ＇personalized medicine＇ for hypertension just initiated in small-scale of populations.However,numerous challenges are emerging with launch large studies. |
