| Abstract: | Mipomersen sodium is an antisense oligonucleotides inhibitor of apolipoprotein B-100. It is a new drug for adjunctive treatment of homozygous familial hypereholesterolemia in adult patients with a novel mechanism of action. Its echanism,pharmacodynamics,pharmacokinetics,drug interaction,clinical evaluation and safety are reviewed in this article. |
