Implications of Government Procurement for China's Economy

The article first dwells on the sysem of government procurement and its theory and applies theory of public finance and nwe public management to analyze benefits and disadvantages of government procurement system.It concludes that the government should adopt both administrative and legal approaches to enhance macro management and control of its procurement system,whlie gradually liberalizing its micro controlled market.It advocates that in the market for government procurement,its function should,tather than replacing the market function,fully exploit the market function.
