| Abstract: | The results of this retrospective study showed that Group G streptococcal bacteremia was an acute febrile disease with low mortality. Most patients were > 60 y old but there was a strong association between age < 60 y and malignancy. Cases clustered in summer and the most common port of entry was the skin. |
