| Abstract: | A 28-year-old male patient diagnosed with Becker muscular dystrophy (BMD)-associated cardiomyopathy was successfully bridged to transplantation with the Cardiowest total artificial heart. Dramatic improvement of muscular functional status occurred following transplantation. |
