SARS患者病程中性激素水平的变化

【目的】了解严重急性呼吸综合征 (SARS)是否对患者性腺功能造成了损害。【方法】采用电化学发光免疫技术检测了 2 9例SARS血清雌二醇 (E2 )、黄体生成素 (LH)和睾酮 (T)含量变化 ,并与 5 7例肺结核患者和正常对照组作了比较。【结果】SARS患者血清E2 含量明显低于肺结核组和对照组 ,LH含量明显高于肺结核组和正常对照组 (P <0 .0 5 )。男性SARS患者血清T含量低于肺结核组和正常对照组 ,女性SARS患者血清T含量高于肺结核组和正常对照组。重型SARS患者血清E2 含量显著低于普通型。激素水平恢复要慢于临床症状的改善。发病后 2个月左右激素水平基本恢复正常。肺结核组血清E2 、LH和T含量变化与正常对照组相比无显著性差异 (P >0 .0 5 )。【结论】SARS发病过程中与性功能有关的激素水平发生了变化 ,这些激素水平的恢复可能是一个相对缓慢的过程。

Dynamic Comparative Study on the Changes in Levels of Hormones Relevant to Sexual Function in Patients with SARS and Pulmonary Tuberculosis

ObjectiveTo understand whether functional damage of sex glands occurred in patients with severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS).The serum level changes of estradiol (E 2), luteinizing hormone(LH) and testosterone(T) in 29 patients with SARS and 57 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis (PT) were detected by electrochemical immunoluminescence techniques and compared with the normal controls.The serum levels of E 2 in patients with SARS were significantly lower than those in PT patients and normal controls, while the serum leves of LH were obviously higher than those in PT patients and normal controls (P<0.05). The serum levels of T in male patients with SARS were distinctly lower than those in PT patients and normal controls ; whereas the serum levels of T in female SARS patients reversely increased . The serum levels of E 2 in critical SARS patients declined markedly as compared to those in common type of SARS patients ; the recovery of their sex hormone levels lagged behind the remission of clinical symptoms, it essentially returned to normal about 2 months after disease onset. There were no significant differences in the serum levels of E 2, LH and T between PT group and normal controls(P>0.05).[Conclusion]Serum level changes of hormones relevant to sex function occur in patients with SARS. The recovery of their levels may be a relatively slow course.
