论五行理论在《黄帝内经》建构中的作用及其意义

Discussing Effect and Significance of Five Elements Theory in Huangdi's Internal Classics

Five elements theory is archaic theory of philosophy. It studies on concept, mutual relationship and characteristics of five elements, it also explains extensive relationship of all things in the universe. Five elements theory is the weltanschauung and the methodology. The ancients know mutual relationship of all things in the universe, it also internal regularity of the things. It applies concept of five elements theory to explain mystery of things correlated life or vital movement in human body and to construct recognition and thinking method of medical theory in Huangdi's Internal Classics. Five elements theory also applies to explain physiological functions, pathology and to guide diagnosis, differentiation of symptoms and signs, and treatment of disease.
