Abstract: | Laryngeal electromyography is a crucial diagnostic test in laryngology. Laryngeal electromyography is important for the diagnosis of vocal fold paresis and cricoarytenoid joint pathology (e.g., arytenoid dislocation). In addition, laryngeal electromyography offers prognostic information regarding potential vocal fold paralysis recovery, which can improve the management strategies for vocal fold paralysis. |
