| Abstract: | Radiologic evaluation of rectal cancer is invaluable in aiding the surgeon, gastroenterologist, and oncologist in the initial and follow-up management of patients with this malignancy. This review highlights recent developments in computed tomography; ultrasonographic, metabolic, and magnetic resonance imaging of rectal cancer; its clinical ramifications; and the direction of future efforts. |
