| Abstract: | Secondary hyperparathyroidism is the most frequently encountered complication of chronic renal failure. In this paper, we will summarize new insight into the pathogenesis of secondary hyperparathyroidism in chronic renal failure, with a special emphasis on the regulation of PTH synthesis and parathyroid cell proliferation. |
