Abstract: | Summary The role of knowledge has traditionally been studied in terms of education and training, not in terms of job practice and the division of labour. This article examines the meaning of knowledge in the work context and its role in legitimating the division of labour between qualified and unqualified remedial therapy workers. The main analytic framework is derived from the work of Schutz. |
