Value of MRI in Diagnosis of Meniscus Injury of Knee Joint

Objective:To investigate the diagnostic value of MRI in meniscus injury of knee joint.Methods:From April 2019 to December 2019,30 patients with recent obvious injury history and suspected meniscus injury of knee joint were selected in our hospital.All patients underwent arthroscopy and MRI.The examination results were based on arthroscopy,and the diagnostic value of MRI in the diagnosis of meniscus injury of knee joint was analyzed.Results:The results of arthroscopy showed that 17 of the 30 suspected patients were medial meniscus,15 of them were medial meniscus injury,2 were undamaged;13 were lateral meniscus,12 of them were lateral meniscus injury,1 case was not injured.The accuracy of the diagnosis of the medial meniscus by MRI was 88.26%(15/17),the specificity was 50.00%(1/2),the sensitivity was 80.00%(12/15),and the accuracy of the lateral meniscus was 84.62%(11/13),the specificity is 50.00%(1/2),the sensitivity is 90.91%(10/11),The accuracy,specificity and sensitivity of the detection of lateral meniscus injury and medial meniscus injury by MRI were not statistically significant,P>0.05.MRI diagnosed 27 cases of meniscus injury,of which 14 cases of grade Ⅲ accounted for 51.85%,10 cases of grade Ⅱ accounted for 37.04%,and 3 cases of grade Ⅰ accounted for 11.11%.Conclusion:MRI examination has high diagnostic accuracy,specificity and sensitivity in patients with meniscus injury of knee joint,which can provide effective imaging basis for the diagnosis of the disease.
